Personal Cameras

The future is personal cameras.

Wearable body cameras and drones.

They will change the world forever.

Every interaction you have with everyone will be caught on tape.

Technology will develop so that your every act in public life is recorded and can be played back to replace witness accounts with fact.

Rudeness, bullying, crime, accusations all verified objectively.

Identity and privacy issues can be protected by blurring faces in post production. So that's not an issue. And in some cases it won't matter.

Technology is progressing in this direction anyway, due to two drivers:

1. Camera Technology: cameras are getting smaller and easier to conceal, better in quality, easier to share across devices and media platforms, it fits with the Wearable Tech future.

2. Political Correctness: people will use technology to support their personal battle for or against The Other, resolving objectively disputes, disagreements, arguments, assault perceived or otherwise.

From that moment on the whole world will change.

People will no longer feel free to speak their mind or behave any way they want knowing that people are wearing tiny HD cameras on their person.

Sure they will have objective proof that someone hurt their feelings, or didn't. But the cost is privacy.

We will all become spies.

We will all tread carefully, even more than we are now, when engaging with others.

Concealed personal recording devices will settle and prevent many Things that confront us in public social life.

Even in private life, we'll be able to pull up that argument we had where our partner promised to clean out the garage for once.

This development will meet immediate resistance, mostly over privacy issues, but these will be overcome.

After this initial resistance, many things will improve in life, and many other things will get a lot worse.

Imagine life where everything you do is recorded and can be played back later for any reason.

Arguing is not a Yelling Match

An argument is an idea you expose to others to test its validity and its truth and its value.

An argument is not an emotional yelling match between two people who disagree on a point, who are furious and desire the destruction of their opponent.

An argument is not an articulated expression of an emotional outburst.

An argument is the rational expression of a conclusion derived from logic and observation that you present to Others for critique, development and potential to solve a problem or advise on a matter from an intellectual basis.

An argument is a part of a process to get from a basic idea to a well-tested statement. An argument is an improvement from concept to reality.

The act of arguing is when this presentation of a developed concept is subject to the Other, who crtitques the presentation.

The act of arguing improves the argument or shows it to be lacking in some area.

Thus further is improvement can be made following the arguing phase.

An argument is an intellectual advancement, made so only because of the criticism of the Other.

Scientists present arguments to other scientists to improve and refine their original idea that inspired it.

Unfortunately, the general public also uses the term to describe an emotionally charged, adverse dispute between people. The conclusion of this argument is not designed to achieve greater understanding, but to destroy the opponent.

Let's take back the original and better use of the term.

An argument is good. It is good because emotions don't come into it. An argument is about intellectuals getting together to acheive understanding and truth.

Humans - Walking Self-Contradictions

People want X and Not X at the same time.

People want to eat and lose weight.

People want to express their individuality and copy everyone else.

People hate the slaughter of animals and love meat.

People love 3rd world immigrants, but not next door.

People say it's what's on the inside that counts, and fall in love with babes.

Women love a guy who's caring and makes them laugh, but want to shag the tough wanker.

Men want a soul mate to share their life, with big boobs.

Social Justice Warriors protest against Fascism, by shutting down and boycotting free speech.

People want massive carbon and pollution reduction, and use power and gas to fuel their lives like its running out.

People want to come together in the face of adversity and crisis, and bash each over the last rolls of bog paper.

People meet others, laugh, smile and share concerns, and bitch about them behind their backs.

People want Freedom, but not when it upsets them.

People want the Truth, unless it hurts.

Religious scientists demand Evidence for everything except God.

People are walking talking self-contradictions.

People don't know what the fuck they want at any given moment.

People are confused and the world inside their heads is a fucking mess.

No wonder the world is fucked.

Everything's fine until the shit goes down.

Then all this confused crap comes out like explosive diarrhea mixed with baking soda.

People!

You can't have it both ways.

Pick a thing and stick to it.

Everyone has the same hair cut

For the past five years at least, there is a men's hairstyle that is as common today as the Mullet was in the 80s.

Shaved sides, longer on top, greased back.

We call it The Reverse Mullet: short back and sides, business at the top.

For women, it's been The Kardasian: dead flat, long, parted in the middle.

It comes with accessories: Turkish Moustache Eyebrows, Duck Lips, Mascara Til Tuesday, Black-Eye Shadow .

Women a little older or less daring will be drawn to the Bob, the Punk or the American Housewife.

The conformity to hairstyles reminds us of how much we resemble sheep, following each other around as if our lives depended on it.

A crowd of men and women out on the town, completely unknown to each other, will all have the same haircut, so that the venue looks like a cult convention.

Acres of money, time, effort combined to acheive the individualistic Anyone look. Modern Barbie and Ken, shat out of the bowels of social conformity. The Current Trend Turd.

If the lights went out and everyone was evacuated, they'd end up outside with the wrong date.

Later on at the nightclub, they'd return from the bar or toilets and spend the rest of the night with someone else. Neither noticing the difference.

If you look like everyone, you become anyone.

Men have only two other hair styles to choose from and two groups to follow: Bald and Hipster.

Almost all men over 35 are bald.

Perhaps not all men are being quietly attacked by a contagious Bald Virus, and they actually choose this "hair" style to channel their inner Action Hero from the silver screen.

Under 35, if you're a Hipster, you have to have a long beard and a man-bun.

That's it.

It's as though every city has only three barbers and one Kardashian hair stylist.

If they can afford it, women will complete the package boob face, fake boob boobs and matching arse.

Everyone is starting to look the same.


Just like almost all cars are white, black or grey, the people inside them have one of three hair styles.

Ethics versus Morality

People confuse Morality with Ethics.

Ethics, as a concept developed first by Aristotle in his book Ethics, is a philosophical study of morality.

Ethics asks the question, "What is good?" It is an intellectual study of the concept of goodness and rightness.

Morality is the term for what is good or bad, right or wrong, in the sense and context of social behaviour.

Morality is subjective. What one person thinks good or right behaviour can be challenged by someone who thinks the same behaviour is bad or wrong.

Morality is an ancient term for how to behave Rightly in society. It is a pedestrian term, concerned with manners and socially appropriate behaviour.

Ethics is a systematic study of morality. Ethics does not claim X is good or bad. Ethics studies the concepts. What do people mean when they use these terms?

Ethics uses logic and evidence to study morality.

Morals are social behaviours subjectively held by individuals to decribe social actions as good, bad, right or wrong.

Thus, the difference.

Where to Wear your Watch

Wear your watch on your NON Master hand.

You never wear your watch on your Master hand. For two reasons:

1. It shows you up as being unsophisticated. You've given away your ignorance of Class.

2. It's impractical. Your Master hand is for doing everything important and a watch will get in your way or even possibly damaged.

You also wear your Signet Ring on your non-master hand for the same reasons.

The position of your watch gives away a lot of information about you: your awareness of Class, your education, your intelligence, your care for how what you appear to be affects how you are treated.

Why do Australian children wear a range of different uniform styles?

Why do they wear uniforms at all? And why are they so smart?

Some schools enforce a uniform, some offer uniforms as an option, and some schools have no dress code other than you turn up dressed.

Many Private schools and some Public schools have strict and high standards of dress with their uniforms, including senior levels wearing blazers, collared shirts and ties.

This higher standard is a legacy of Australia's British past, namely the Upper Class, copying off the "Public" and Grammar schools and Ivy League Colleges attended by the privileged, the elite classes and the rich.

What is a higher standard of dress? Compare attending a wedding or addressing the UN or the Queen in your shorts and a singlet, with wearing a tuxedo or suit with tie.

Nuff said.

This higher standard of school dress is just a tiny part of the concept of a higher standard of everything. It is part of the unwritten laws of what it means to be a higher level of person: sophisticated, civilised and refined as a member of the shaved monkey community.

The differences create Classes of social status, which indicate and create opportunities.

Dressing at a higher standard is one way to BE a higher standard of person.

Alongside dress, we have other outwardly facing expressions of our higher place in society: bearing, posture, gait, speech, manners, behaviour and appearance in all public settings.

Behind the apppearance are higher standards of thinking: ego, moral values, world view, self-respect.

Politicians, diplomats, businessmen, salesmen and other sections of society use these higher standards, especially dress, for additonal reasons than appearing elite, rich or privileged. They dress at a higher standard to achieve certain goals based on the affect they wish to have on onlookers: especially the goal of being taken seriously, being thought of as smart, powerful, well-educated, impressive, looked up to, respected, revered, trusted, believed, followed.

And whether we like it or not, these impressions are felt by onlookers just by a higher standard of dress. It says something about the person that is intuitively impressive.

Your outwardly expressed standards tell people about your level of civilisation, refinement and sophistication. It earns respect, disrespect or indifference by compulsion.

A well-dressed man is treated and perceived differently by onlookers from a scruffy, poorly-dressed man. The difference is in level of respect, trust, authority, power.

We all know, how you look affects how people think of you and treat you.

This fact of Human Nature is law-like and has versions in every part of the world.

We don't attend job interviews in our trackie dacks and the shirt we slept in.

This dress standard is understood at the adult level. But their is patently an issue at the school age level, considering the difference in and the attitudes towards school uniforms.

How do we explain higher standards, class, refinement and sophistication to children?

Children are not so concerned about social status and refinement. But they are concerned about how they look. But how they look is something they believe heartedly should reflect their individuality, their personal self-awareness, and their appearance to their peers.

If given the option, most children would likely abandon smart blazers for personalised civvy clothes. Unless they were as pompous as their parents.

How do we explain to our children why they should wear a smart school uniform?

Should we bother? It's not like they have much choice.

We think we should bother.

We should bother, if we want our children to get a head start on understanding how the world works and not lag behind, finding out only after life-long irrepairable mistakes are made.

We can explain to our children the seemingly pointless and uncomfortable dressing up concept using terms they already understand.

Some people swear in public, pee in public, scuff their feet, talk at volume in quiet places, make a scene, lose their shit and other behaviour.

Surely even children can see that there is a difference between this kind of person and others who don't partake.

Surely we can point to the medieval times of Europe, composed of peasants and their royal rulers.

Closer to home, is the concept teenagers already have of being self-conscious about their appearance. They know from experience how their appearance affects their onlookers and soon after, their own self-worth. They know appearance matters. Pimples, lumps and hair popping out of puberty, being fat or thin, short or tall, having a disfigurement, looking like a Kardashian or Napolean Dynamite etc.

Once they confirm the law of appearance, we can move into the degrees of appearance from peasant Bogan to Princess and President.

And there are degrees across all outward appearances and behaviours we can point to that children can see every day.

So. Kids. There are actual reasons behind why people dress in suits and ties. It's not by accident. There is a practical effect. There is therefore a reason why we have high standards of dress in schools. It's to prepare you for your future. It is to introduce you to the concept of Class: refinement, sophistication and status. It is to warn you how much these things will matter throughout your life.

If you present yourself as a peasant, you will be treated thus.
