Transgender - A Practical Treatment

Transgender communities if supported by law and social pressure will detrimentally effect society and individuals.

As parents, we are responsible for protecting our children. We often do this by planning ahead and preparing for worst case likely scenarios that risk their protection.

Do we want our daughters to share public toilets with men? Some male sex predators are already using the excuse of transgender to access female areas to assualt them. Should we wait for the sexual assault of our daughters and then do something about it? Or is it wiser to plan ahead, so the assault doesn't happen in the first place?

An interim solution would be to escort our children in public toilets.

A longer term solution would be to abolish communal bathrooms and replace them with single access rooms: one toilet or changing room per person, with lockable doors.

The point is that prevention is better than cure.

We need to look at current trends with changes in society and plan for those that have new risks, currently not managed.

We need to be proactive rather than reactive.

Transgender is a trend that is starting to change and effect society and individuals. Not all of it is good.

Should we encourage our daughters to become elite sprinter athletes? If we look at the trend in transgender and the consequences in sport, we can see how transwoman (physically male) are going to beat females every time. So we should not encourage or waste resources on our female children entering areas of skill dominated by men when they will be competing with those men.

Our children are likely to start dating. Dating is likely to be via internet apps, where transwomen (men) will idenitfy in their online profile that their gender is female. Should we warn our children?

On the surface, everything looks harmless. Transgender looks like a harmless individual experience that has no effect on our lives or society. Only an intelligent consideration to examine emerging ideas and phenomena can reveal the scope and limitations, the risks and consequences. And then plan, prepare, resource and act to treat whatever is not but needs to be treated.
